Majorca has been a popular holiday destination for many years and it`s appeal continues to attract a growing number of holidaymakers year after year.
Many who first came on holiday with their parents, now return to the island with their own families and that trend will go on indefinitely.
Two great attractions are knowing that you should be able to rely on having hot
sunshine for most of the year and being able reach Majorca in a short timescale from most parts of Europe.
There are many excellent holiday towns, however one family welcoming small resort
is Puerto Pollensa which is on the northern coastline, only one hour away from
Palma airport. You can therefore be in your accommodation in almost no time and you will then be ready to go for a meal, a drink, or just relax on the beach. As there are no steep streets, it ideal for pushing a pram or a wheelchair.
Entertainment is very low key and usually finishes around midnight, making a holiday in this town particularly appealing.
Package Holidays are very popular and three groups which cater for these are
– Flora Aparthotel, Oro Playa and Villa Concha.
