One of the most popular pastimes, particular in the warmest summer months, is to visit the water parks andthere is nowhere better to be than Hidropark. This exciting water park is full of slides, pools and fun for all ages. Learn about how to get there, where to buy tickets and how to make the most of this fun adventure in Majorca.
Directions to Hidropark in Majorca
The Hidropark is located just five kilometers outside of the centre of Alcudia. If you are staying in or around any of the resorts in Ca’n Picafort or Puerto Pollença, you are just minutes from the water park. Those who are traveling from the capital of Palma de Mallorca may want to make the hour-long drive, or there are public transportation options available to get you to and from the park with ease.
Opening Hours and Seasonal Closures
Although the weather in Majorca is warm throughout the year, the Hidropark is only open during the peak summer months on the island. The first day that the water park opens is typically the first of May, and it remains open until the final day of October. During this time, the park is open Monday through Sunday, but it does close on a handful of local holidays.
Every day the park opens at 10:30 in the morning, and guests need to leave by 6:30 at night. Although you can enter as late at five in the evening, it makes sense to arrive early and enjoy more of the park with your admission entry.
Admission Prices and Extra Costs
One admission ticket to Hidropark includes access to all of the pools and the slides, and it costs €18 for those over the age of 11. Children under the age of three will get in for free, and those between the ages of three and 11 will pay a reduced price of €11. Keep in mind that admission does not include access to all the attractions and activities within the park. Miniature golf costs €2 for children and €3 for adults, and there are similar costs for playing on the inflatable boats or the inflatable bouncing balls.
Who Will Most Enjoy the Excitement at Hidropark
Whether you want to relax or get active, the Hidropark has something for you. Children will love the five different pools and the 15 slides, and adults will love the warm loungers and the chance to relax in the sun. You can even try snuba diving, which is similar to scuba and may help prepare you for open-water diving in the future.
