If you are planning an upcoming trip to Cala San Vicente, use this guide to learn more about the great activities, accommodations, landmarks and more

Getting to Cala San Vicente: There are several ways that holiday makers can choose to get to the resort of Cala San Vicente. If you decide to rent a car from the capital city of Palma, expect the journey to take at least two hours. The trip is quite scenic and car rental is affordable, but many people prefer not to drive in a new destination. If that is the case, there are other options to arrive at Cala San Vicente. Taxis are available from the Sant Joan Airport, and they can be booked ahead of time with set costs. Expect to negotiate slightly, but don’t agree to pay much more than 75 euros for the journey. There are also public buses that head to Puerto Pollensa and you can get a connecting taxi from there.

Dining and Nightlife in Cala San Vicente: It is important to remember that this is not a giant resort with countless international restaurants. It is a small and traditional destination, and it is one where holiday makers have a good chance of dining with a local family at least once during their stay. This area of Majorca has long been a fishing region, so seafood should make it onto the menu several times during your stay. While some of the hotels do offer more continental or international meal options, you should definitely try the local offerings first. Cavall Bernat and Trattoria Cala Sant Vincenc are two incredible restaurants that serve up delicious Mallorcan cuisine. Nightlife is slow and quiet here. While you will have no trouble finding a bar or two for a drink, there are no giant clubs open all night.

Hotel Choices in the Area: There are only a handful of hotels in Cala San Vicente, but that only helps to keep the number of visitors to a minimum. Most of the hotels are affordable, located right along the beach and offer amenities like a restaurant and an outdoor pool for guest use.

Attractions in Cala San Vicente: For many people, the beauty of Cala San Vicente is the lack of typical tourism attractions. You won’t find big amusement parks or tour buses coming into this area, but there are beautiful sandy beaches and incredible viewpoints over the ocean from the bluffs. Hiking is very popular among visitors, and the walk from Cala San Vicente to Puerto Pollensa is one of the most scenic walks on the island. There is a return bus service that costs just over one euro in order to get back to Cala San Vicente.

This resort is not the biggest, the best-known or the most crowded. However, it is perfect for families and couples who want to get away from it all, relax, enjoy time on an exclusive beach and be pampered in luxurious hotels.
