This is an ideal holiday destination for virtually all age groups, because families enjoy the wonderful golden sandy beach and the almost constant sunshine- and older age groups have fun eating at a large selection of great restaurants, combined with having refreshments in beach side cafes.
One of the joys for women is certainly finding good value items in one of the small chic shops where dresses and leather items etc are sold. It is also an ideal resort for pushing wheelchairs and prams, because there are virtually no steep streets in the town.
Puerto Pollensa really is a town for all age groups and once you have been there, you are very likely to want to return. As it is only a one hour journey north from Palma airport, you can be in your accommodation
in a short timescale.
There is a huge choice of accommodation in the town, ranging from excellent upmarket Hotels, down to more inexpensive properties and a very popular alternative is to rent villas in Puerto Pollensa too.
The Pinewalk is one of the big attractions, as it is adjacent to the sea and the towns fabulous beach. It is also one of the most attractive locations for rented apartments and you will find a selection of these being advertised on the walls of villas as you stroll in the direction of the hotel Illa D’or and in the area near the Hostal Bahia.
