Puerto Pollensa’s beautiful scenery, great beaches and relaxed atmosphere make it a popular choice for holiday makers year after year. But what about the people who work and live in the town that create our perfect holiday moments.
In this first of our interview series on the website we chat to the team behind the popular Pine Walk based restaurant Little Italy so read on and find out more.
Little Italy is an extremely popular restaurant in Puerto Pollensa, tell about the history of the restaurant, how it all started and the people who run the business today?
It all started by two Italians and a Frenchman who were working together in Pollença 20 years ago. We found a nice corner in Puerto Pollensa and we begin to setup our dream! On 18 March 2000 Rafaele Esposito, Michele Garofalo and Caryl Karsenty opened the gates of Little Italy Puerto Pollensa and the rest was history!
You are located in the Pine Walk, we can say more about the beautiful area of the city where you are?
The Pine Walk has become a symbol of the resort and a not to be missed place to visit. Pine tree’s drape over the powder soft sand, the blue of the sky above and crystal clean sea and relaxed pace up the length of the beach make it chill out heaven!

We also include gluten free dishes in the menu too.
Time sensitive products like salted fish, sea bass and sea bream ad well as grilled seafood are included in our daily menu.
What are the most popular menu orders and what would you recommend to families with children?
The most popular dish on our menu is our Pizza, homemade and cooked in a wood oven.
For families we recommend our half – meter pizza
For people who come for the first time to Puerto Pollensa, you have some recommendations to enjoy better place?
The first gift of the day is the beautiful sunrise over Pollensa Bay. You just need to goto the beach about 6:00 pm in the morning in summer to enjoy this natural spectacle.
A walk through Pine Walk is another gift of nature!
Relaxed coffee, cocktail or eating in front of the beach is actually something we can do for you.
Or finally go hiking in our Tramontana mountains world heritage site or water sports like diving, canoeing, boating in the bay.
