Once you arrive in Palma, you will be spoiled for choice as to which part of this sunny island to visit.
Ideally the perfect holiday would be to spend a month touring and staying in all parts of the island, however, for most tourists that would not be practical.
A few options are–
From Palma, travel westwards for about 45 minutes and you will reach Palma Nova and immediately adjacent, is the very busy and popular holiday resort of Magaluf.
This has been one of the must visit destinations for British tourists for many years and if you like a busy active holiday where you can relax on a wonderful beach during the day and live life to the full once evening arrives, then Magaluf may be ideal for you.
If however, you prefer a quieter pace, then resorts in the north of the island may be more suitable.
If you travel northwards on the motorway, you can reach several fantastic senic resorts in less than one hour.
The roman town of Alcudia is well worth visiting. It has narrow cobbled streets, boutique Hotels, a good selection of restauarants and a very slow way of enjoying life. It`s neighbour Puerto Alcudia is an excellent modern resort with a fabulous beach, Hotels, entertainment and sports suitable for all age groups.
Close to these towns is Puerto Pollensa, which is one of the most popular family friendly resorts on the island
and once you have stayed there, the probability is that you will want to return to it as soon as possible.
