Part of the fun of enjoying a holiday in Puerto Pollensa is in visiting the weekly market, which takes place every Wednesday morning.
The main square which is normally the site for restaurants and bars, becomes the market for a few hours from about 10am until around 12.30pm.
The type of tems for sale are fruit, flowers, vegetables, clothes for all ages, shoes, watches, towels, inexpensive gifts, etc etc.
As an alternative to going to this market, you could on a Sunday visit a similar market which takes place in Pollensa. The local bus will take you for a cost of less than 2 euros each way.
