There are many beaches on Majorca which are of a high standard and a large proportion of these are small attractive coves.
However, if you prefer to enjoy your holiday playing, sunbathing and walking on a long stretch of warm golden sand, then two beaches which you are almost certain to enjoy, are the wonderful beaches at Puerto Pollensa and at
Puerto Alcudia.
The long stretch of golden sand at Puerto Pollensa, several miles long, will appeal to all holidaymakers.
Many Restaurants and Hotels are positioned right beside the beach, where you could sit at your table
enjoying your refreshment and watch the fun taking place on the beach.
If you enjoy walking on sand, it is possible to start from the Illa Dor Hotel at the east of the town
and then walk for a few miles towards Alcudia at the west of the town.
You will only require to walk on a road surface at the small section near the Information Bureau
and the Marina.
If walking seems too strenuous, then for almost the full extent of the beach, there are sunbeds and sunshades where for a relatively small price, you could enjoy a full days sunbathing, with the sea only a few steps away.
Simply a perfect way to relax.
