For those who have not yet visited this small town, it can be described as an ideal holiday destination, particularly for families or those who are seeking a mainly quiet holiday with very little noisy entertainment.
It has a wonderful sandy beach, attractive small shops and a large number of excellent restaurants.
As the streets are all virtually flat with no steep inclines, it is ideal for the elderly and for those who require to push prams or wheelchairs.
Good Hotels and Apartments are in abundance and the dffiiculty is -which one to select.
Three which have always pleased us are–
* The Hostal Bahia. It is an long established Hotel which sits at an attractive part of the Pinewalk and is only a few steps from the beach. The view of the sea from the Hotel is magnificent. It has a restaurant , a bar and a terrace.
* Daina Hotel. This is a charming Hotel situated on the Pinewalk.
It has a swimming Pool, sun terraces and and an air conditioned restaurant. The beach is only a few metres away.
* Flora Aparthotel. This is a small quiet complex of eight blocks with 88 apartments overall.
It has a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar and is only ten minutes walk from the beach.
