One of the joys of being in Puerto Pollensa is the pleasure obtained from walking around the town and stopping just whenever you feel like it.
Either simply to enjoy the magnificent views or to read your book and have a well earned refreshment at one of the hundreds of bars, cafes and restaurants.
One important point is that as there are virtually no steep inclines in the town, you will be able to walk, push a buggy or a wheelchair with very little effort. There are several short walks which are certainly worth trying.

* From the roundabout near the marina and bus terminus, walk the length of the Pinewalk,
which is the attractive pedestrian walkway adjacent to the mediterranean sea and of course
beside the beach. You will pass several prominent Hotels, including the Daina Hotel,
the Hostal Bahia, the Sis Pins and at the far end of the walk, you will see the Illa D`or Hotel.
You should be able to reach the Illa D`or Hotel in about 40 minutes and then after a rest,
you can walk back to the start of the Pinewalk.
* Another interesting walk is again from the roundabout walk in the Alcudia direction.
The sea and beach will be on your left hand side and there are many shops on your right.
You will pass the Uyal Hotel and in the distance you will see a high building, which is the
Pollensa Park Hotel. Stop when you feel that you have walked far enough and return to the roundabout and the marina.
